MISS ROXIE IS SOLD!

Howdy, Traveler! It finally happened; I sold Miss Roxie! She has moved to another state, and the new owner is already transforming her!  Here is a short video as I watched her pull away for the last time.

Miss Roxie is being re-branded, and the new owner has been sending me some photos of the changes! I hope to introduce you to the new owner and HER Shasta makeover at some point in the future.  I’ll keep you posted!

Heading to Nashville

We are heading on a four-week camping and boating trip to Nashville in a couple of weeks — our big 2021 summer trip. I have my bucket list by my side and can’t wait to explore Music City! Make sure you subscribe to my Instagram and/or Facebook pages to get real-time travel updates!

Handmade Souvenir ~ Girl With Mickey Balloon

I created this issue’s handmade souvenir by literally looking at the ground around my campsite at the Fort Wilderness Campground in Disney World.

The piece is titled: Girl with Mickey Balloon.

I have seen examples of “pebble art” appearing in my Pinterest feed and wanted to create one of my own.

Standing only 4 inches tall, mine is made from pebbles and shells, glued onto a block of wood covered with a steel plate.

The hardest part of the project was also the most enjoyable; collecting the stones around the campsite. Hopefully, Girl with Mickey Balloon inspires you to create your own pebble art souvenir from your next trip.
