NEW THOR PALAZZO 33.2 CLASS A:
Howdy, Traveler! The end of winter is close at hand, and spring is in the air! It’s time to go camping!
My Winter 2021 Newsletter introduces you to our new Class A motorcoach, a handmade travel souvenir, and a cocktail plant.
Is this camping?
Yep, I can hardly believe it myself. We purchased a Class A motorcoach. We have looked at these in the past, but I have such a fear of driving one! And since I do most of the driving, that is important!
Will I be able to drive it, and is this really camping? Time will tell, and a video tour is coming soon.
Your FIRST RV PURCHASE should be the
BIGGEST RV you ever plan to own.

One thing for sure, we DIDN’T take the RV Salesman’s advice.
To learn where this advice came from and my personal evolution as a camper and RV purchases, go to my new post, “My Evolution of a Camper: RV Purchases.”
Father’s Day Souvenir
Father’s Day is months away, but it is never too early to plan on a gift! Check out my latest handmade souvenir project: DIY Father’s Day Souvenir.
Springtime = Camping Time
Indeed, the winter months in central Flordia often feel like spring, but we still have plants and flowers that go dormant.
Near the end of February, these plants begin to bloom, reminding us that spring is almost here and camping season will be open all across the country!
For example, check out the new “Cocktail” plant I planted last month. It grows BOTH Meyer Lemons and Key Limes on one plant!
Look closely, and you will see the fruit starting to grow. I’ll update you with a picture of a fully fruited plant in the spring e-letter. 🙂
May your upcoming camping trips of “living life in the outdoors” bring you and yours great joy!
And might I suggest the perfect journal to record all your trip’s details, and most importantly, memories? Check out my “Happy Camper Camping Journal and RV Logbook.” I designed it to use on my own camping trips.

We’re looking forward to travelling this year, too. So far we’ve been to Port A. and to Waco. At the beginnig of May we’ll be at the “Keels and Wheels” in Seabrook/TX, and later in May in Port A. again. Nothing further planned, but we’ll definitely be on the road more.
After 2020, I think we all want to get out and travel more! “Keels and Wheels” sounds like a LOT of fun! I’m missing Texas, and it will not be until November that I get to visit my home state again.
We are going to visit family in Kentucky and do the Derby thing in a few weeks. But by the fall we are traveling to Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, Wyoming, Arizona, New Mexico, TEXAS, then on back home! Eight weeks in all! I have never traveled for so many weeks before, and I think when it is all said and done, we will put on over 5,500 miles! I must admit, I’m excited and a little nervous as well because I’m the primary driver of the Class A. Yikes!
Congratulations to your “biggie”. We’ve finally scrapped our plans of RV-ing, for various reasons. Maybe I’ll post about that some time soon. It was very interesting still, though, to read your post here.
Take care, stay healthy, and happy RV-ing,
Pit
Thanks, Pit! (Sorry I am just now seeing your comment). Thanks for the comments and well wishes. Travel is a big part of my life, and I’m looking forward to a few major trips I’ll be taking this year. I’m sure I’ll learn a lot by driving such a big rig! Happy Trails!
Mrs. Padilly,
Been reading you since you had the Casita. I had an older Casita at the time and I got alot of ideas for decorating her from you. I gave her to my Grandson, he had her for a couple of years and then sold her for more than I’d bought her for. ( 10 yrs before) I’ve always enjoyed your adventures and could always sense, your love of camping. Good Luck with your class A
Hi Connie! I’m not surprised your grandson came out ahead when he sold his Casita! I did too when I sold mine. But I do wish I never did. Of all the RVs I owned, that one is the most precious to me.
Thank you for your wishes regarding the Class A. This feels like a BIG departure from GLAMPING, but I promise you and my readers, there is lots of glamping to come.
Have a great day!
